British Book Design And Production Awards 201002/08/2010

The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), Oxford Brookes University and The Publishers Association are proud to announce the shortlist for the British Book Design and Production Awards 2010. With 16 categories, each full of high calibre applicants, the eighth annual awards are set to be a great display of excellence and eye-catching book design and production.

A five-strong panel of industry experts from the areas of design, publishing and production gathered for two days at Oxford Brookes University, where they went through a tough selection process in order to reach the shortlist decision. Due to the high quality of entrants this year the judges had an extremely difficult decision on their hands to select the shortlist.

The winners of each respective category will be announced at a glittering Gala Awards evening, seen as the event of the year for all those involved in the industry, and the focal point for all book and journal publishers in the UK. The dazzling ceremony will be held on Tuesday 5th October at the prestigious Lancaster London Hotel, a venue famed for its spectacular views across the centre of London.

Tickets are now available at www.britishbookawards.org/2010/tickets.aspx.
